पुण्यात आय.आय.टी.......
काल मी एन.सी.एल. कॅंम्पस मध्ये स्थित असलेल्या आय.आय.एस.ई.आर (आयसर) च्या उदघाटनाला गेले होते.
तिथले ते दीप्त, झळाळते विद्यार्थी, प्रोफ़ेसर्स आणि सायंटिस्ट्स पाहून मन भरून आलं...पुण्यात I.I.T. निघाल्याचा आनंदही होता.
फ़क्त हे सर्व आपल्या भारताच्या कामी यायला हवं...
भारताला प्रगतीची, समृद्धीची.....नैतिक समृद्धिची म्हणा हवं तर... क्षितीजं कवेत यायला हवीत...

I don't exactly agree with Parag. Capability is a function of one's abilities, training as well as social class. There is no way for the students coming from lesser means, to compete with the upper middle class students pampered by parents,going to best schools and after school coaching classes. Educational institutions funded by the government should be the tools of social upliftment. In fact the the sole objective of the government funded schools should be to give the quality education to the underpriviledged students.
Having said that, dividing the society based on the castes is not a good thing to do. So I don't know what the solution is.
